Built in Venice.
Ridden around the world.

The Carver story, from one flat summer to more than 40 countries.

What started in Venice, California in 1996 kept traveling. Different languages, different streets, same reason to drop a board on the pavement.

Built in Venice. Ridden around the world. The Carver Story.

The map

A worldwide community

Thirty years on, Carver is ridden in more than 40 countries, and most of what we know about that comes from the videos and photos riders send us. The map is a sample. The list is longer.

World map of places Carver is ridden, from Canada to South Africa to Australia. Carver community is a worldwide community.
We’re getting videos and photos from every corner of the globe. We built it around a feeling, and the community is what carried it around the world. Neil Carver, co-founder and original trucksmith.

Different places

Same feeling

Shop demos. Pump tracks. A festival ramp on the sand. A row of groms holding boards taller than they are. The settings change and the pump doesn’t: weight into the rail, the board driving back under you, speed from the turn instead of a foot on the ground.

Different places, same feeling. Shop demos, pump tracks, group rides and a festival ramp on the sand.
France. A surfskater carving in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Japan. Archive footage of early Carver riders in Japan.
Norway. A bottom turn on granite above a fjord.
USA. The Venice skatepark, a group ride under the Venice sign, and a layback in a backyard bowl.
Italy. A frontside grab on a surf-training ramp.

France, on the Champ de Mars. Japan, which understood it early: a deep surf culture and riders who care about every detail gave Carver a second home there long before surfskate was everywhere. Norway, granite above a fjord. Home, with the park on the sand and a group ride under the Venice sign. Italy, a frontside grab on a surf-training ramp.
