Description

A point break you can build.

The Wavebank is an oval bank drawn for surfskating. One side runs a mellow 26′ radius face up to a 2′-0″ deck. The other side steepens into a 30° wall and tops out at 2′-9″. A hip at the center peaks at 3′-9″, and banked high corners at both ends tie the two walls into one continuous loop. Pump the face, hit the hip, carve the corner. Repeat.

These are the plans, not the ramp. Three tabloid sheets: a fully dimensioned plan view and five rib and section profiles with every radius, angle and straight run called out. They set the riding surface. Framing, materials and footings are yours and your builder’s to decide, to local code.

Download it, print it, and bring it to the crew that’s building your break.

You'll Love This If…
  • You surfskate and want a spot to pump and carve that’s yours.
  • You have the room. The footprint is 63′-7″ by 21′-4″, before clearance.
  • You, or the builder you hire, can work from dimensioned drawings.
  • You run a shop, warehouse or yard with space for a feature that’s built for surfskates.

Fully Dimensioned Plan View

Sheet A1 lays out the whole Wavebank at 63′-7″ by 21′-4″. Every segment is measured, the ramp ribs repeat at 8′ on center through the straight, and elevation tags mark each deck, the flat bottom, the hip and both high corners. Numbered markers point straight to the matching profile on Sheet A2.

Five Rib and Section Profiles

Sheet A2 draws the ramp rib, hip rib, hip section, high corner and the coping line through the corners. Each profile calls out its radii, its angles and its straight runs, from the 1′ radius at the coping to the 26′ radius on the face. Your builder cuts from numbers.

Two Walls, One Loop

The mellow face is for drive. The steeper 30° wall is for snap. Banked corners rise to 3′-9″ and carry your speed from one wall to the other, so the line never ends at a flat deck. It rides like a wave that doesn’t close out.

Print-Ready Sheets

Three 11″ × 17″ sheets in one PDF, sized for any print shop or a tabloid printer at home. All dimensions are in feet and inches. Build from the dimensions, not the scale.

Made for Sessions

One rider pumps the straight while the next drops in from the deck. The oval keeps every line moving, so the session never stalls at a dead end. Backyard crew or shop demo day, there’s room for everyone to get a wave.
